Since the middle ages, piggy banks have existed in the physical world as a means for hairless apes, mostly small ones, to collect petty change. Eventually, a mysterious deity known as Farrow decided it was time for the piggy banks to evolve. He gave them the gift of having souls, but to Farrow's surprise, the souls of the piggy banks were too strong for their plastic embodiments. They broke free to wander the universe aimlessly, without purpose. Farrow realized the piggy banks would only ever by happy if they were able to work with money again, so he created the Pigxel Banks, a new lineage of piggy banks that would exist on the blockchain. For every Pigxel Bank minted, a piggy bank soul is saved from a meaningless existence
